LIMITED MUSEUM RELEASE
CAREY GULLY, PICCADILLY VALLEY — ADELAIDE HILLS
Wine
Lemon and lime at first with savoury biscuity flavours and orange zest. Toasty oak flavours and vanilla spice interlaced perfectly with the aromatics and bouquet. The palate jumps with stone fruit, mango and apricot and perfectly balance natural acidity. Showing exceptional length with the classic Arranmore Chardonnay pine-lime creamy flavour lingering on and on.
Winemaking
Whole-bunch pressed, wild ferment with full solids, matured 7 months in French oak, 50% 1yo, 50% 2yo. Full wild malo. 12.5% alc. Vegan friendly. Drink now or cellar to 2028.
2019 vintage
A low yielding year due to cold weather during flower, with warmer temperatures and low rainfall during ripening. 2019 produced wines with great structure, deep colour and generous fruit.
The Vineyard
Estate-owned, managed and farmed, the 5-acre Arranmore Vineyard has been farmed organically since Frewin & Candice took ownership in January 2016. NASAA Certified Organic since February 2019. There are just 8 rows of Chardonnay planted at Arranmore yielding a very limited quantity each year.
