About the wine
An individual! They are bright, glistening, with a sparkle in the eye. Dark and mysterious, brooding with confidence and true to who they are. The smell of sweet spice and caraway follows and lingers. Seriously dressed. Textured, tight-nit, but soft. The youthful promise of potential. The best is yet to come. 14% alc/vol. Enjoy at release cellar until 2029+.

Winemaking
Made by Candice and Frew at the CRFT winery in Carey Gully. Hand-picked then cold-soaked followed by wild fermentation in an open-top tank with 25% whole bunch. Pressed to barrel once dry for wild malolactic fermentation and maturation. Occasional lees stirring. Matured for 9 months in 100% French oak, 15% new, 40% 1yo. Vegan friendly.

Vineyard
The Manyara vineyard is a collection of rolling vales based just out of Balhannah and situated a stone’s throw from the banks of the Onkaparinga River.
Organically farmed since 2019, fully certified from 2021.
