Wine
The colour shines! As it pours into the glass it feels like opening a treasure chest of Aztec gold.
Alpine strawberries and pineapple on the nose welcome you to a palate that is rich and full. The secondary flavours are exotic, like a booty loaded pirate ship traveling through the Malacca Strait… Lichees, nutmeg, white pepper, and kaffir lime.
Drink now or bury ya loot in the cellar!
13% alc/vol

K1 Vineyard
Grape vines in their youth battle for their place on the earth. Water, soil and sun is hotly contested until they each establish their territory. Young vines can often be overly ambitious and unbalanced, but as they come of age, their canopies fill out, bunches become consistent and vineyard characters become more distinct.

The K1 vineyard is home to one of the oldest plantings of Gruner in the country, and whilst 2008 may seem recent, these are old vines in an Australian Gruner context.
