92 POINTS - JENI PORT (HALLIDAY WINE COMPANION)
Sourced from just 8 rows of chardonnay grown high at 545m elevation in the Piccadilly Valley. Whole-bunch pressed, wild ferment with full solids; matured 7 months in (30% new) French oak. Certified organic. Makes itself at home immediately, with its soft lines and generous aromas of stone fruits, white peach, melon and nutty marzipan. Tasted months before release and it was already fully formed, packing lovely citrus, summer fruits and a nutty, buttery texture.

The Wine
The nose is a complex mix of stone fruit, coconut and vanilla characters.
The palate is intense and lively with a lime mineral line and macadamia nut shortbread notes.
The natural acidity carries the palate, showing clingstone peach, butterscotch and creamy malo characters.
Drinking beautifully at release, it will continue to develop with bottle age and careful cellaring. Cellar 10 years, possibly longer.
Limited quantity available.
Suggested serving temperature 8-12C.
